These artworks, inspirated and started during long walks in the fantastic during a stay of the artist at Villeneuve, pleasant village of the French part of Swiss, in the splendid environment of the lake Leman, have been completed only at the end of 2004 and will be for the first time part of an exhibition at Orbetello in 2005, pleasant little town that, like in our dreams, seams to rock itself in the splendid lagoon which unites it with the hinterland of the Monte Argentario, where Luvit lives.
The element water and the artistic creativity, stimulated by these two natural pearls, seam to twin those two magnificant little towns.
All the artworks have French titles in tribute to their creative root, but they will be presented in the lagoon of Monte Argentario, where they have been completed.
Luvit wants to remind us, that we live in a world where all the cultural superstructures, inheritated like basic elements of our values, are transformed progressively under the pressing of the strategies, that lead the "homo consumens" to the inexhaustible and indispensable philosophy of life, constructed on the "to have". This behaviour generates the science of the bad, the violence, the unhuman, the isolation, the social alienation and the excessive wealth, joined in all the power and the endemic hunger.
The empathy is exhausting itself progressively, leaving space to always more and better organized systems, where the man gets a fierce hunter but, at the same time, a defenceless prey.
In front of this world we can discover in ourselves the existence of thought, which frees ourselves of the humanity, of the negativity and of all the commissions of the real. Through the imagination, thanks to the subtleties of the function of the unreal, we can turn back to the world of the sicurity, the world, where we can trust our own world of rêverie.
The rêverie is a phenomenon of loneliness, a phenomenon that has its origin in the mind of the dreamer. The soul doesn' t live according to the rhythms of time, but finds peace and quiet in the universes, which the rêverie imagines. The ability of the rêverie is to come in contact with the Universe.
The growth of the existence is in every taking conscience, a rise of Light, a Revival.
The painting is a kind of writing. The rêverie just exists opposite of a white canvas. The brush is an organ of the brain: signs and colours compose and ordinate themselves, substracted by the emotions of the rêverie. The world, in our rêverie, is our exclusive world. From this fantastic dreamworld we learn the possibility of our existence in an universe that is our own. There is futurism in it, in every dreamuniverse.
Joé Bousquet has written: "Dans un monde qui naît de lui, l`homme peut tout devenir."
You don' t talk about the rêverie, on the contrary of the dream (rêve). If you want to comunicate the rêverie you have to write it down and the brush is the right pen for it. The cogito that dreams has immediately the cogitatum in the painting expression of the universal stimulus.
The rêverie helps us to live the world, to understand the unhappiness of the real, to understand the man in his intimate always more tormented and restless.
